1st time customers. We loved it! It’s not cheap chicken. It’s hand breaded, cooked right chicken! For those who don’t know (like us) you’ll need to grab your utensils, napkins, and condiments when you fix your drinks.
Everything about this restaurant was on point. It was 1. Clean 2. Modern 3. Quick 4. Polite The food was fresh, nicely portioned, and seasoned. I love that the tenders coating as well as the chicken itself was seasoned. The signature sauce was good too: think of Canes with a Cajun kick. The watermelon tea was chef's kiss. I'll definitely stop back by when in McComb.
We continue to go to this restaurant, 20 miles. Chicken still prepare well. Service very good!!! Still a patron of this place, which gets better and better!! There is no other "chicken joint" better than this one; real chicken strips, great salad, ample servings, great service, and very clean facility!!!!! Still continue to visit this location, service great, tenders bigger, prepared well, very tasty!!!!!! 2 yrs later, review has not changed.
Very nice place. To be honest I didnt know this franchise but is very good. I went a sunday at 4 pm and there were plenty of room. A lot of parking, the place clean, the people very kind, I order the 3 tenders combo spicy sauce with iced tea and a banana pudin. The order was very fast and the food was delicious. I recommend this place a lot.
1st time here.. finally a place to eat lunch before 11.. . definitely love having the grilled chicken strip as a option !! Major plus , friendly and patient staff with a 1st timer and older ( lol) .. from strips, sandwiches, wraps and Salads! All my food fresh and crisp , just not a fan of the toast .
Immediately upon entering, we were greeted with a big Hello and smiles! Great start. We let them know this was our first time in a Huey Magoo’s and we were given a quick tour of the menu by the manager, TJ, and his favorites. After we were seated and had started eating, TJ approached us and asked if we liked spicy food and then proceeded to bring up their sweet heat sauce. Great sauce - much like a sweet Thia chili sauce. The menu has lots of options for a chicken tender place - nice! The service was incredible and so friendly. TJ, you run a great chicken place! Thank you for good food and even better service!
This was my first time to ever eat at a Huey Magoo’s. It was opening day for ours in McComb. I thought the food was great and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the grilled chicken and fries. The chicken was very good, but I must say that is some of the best fries I’ve ever had. They were extremely busy and with food like this I see why. The building itself looked great and was well laid out. I will defiantly be headed back. Very good food and service.
